ABOUT

John splits his time between Northern Italy and the Boston area. He shoots for advertising, editorial and publishing clients worldwide. Thanks to his Italian heritage he enjoys dual citizenship between America and Italy, which makes working globally easier.

He has also spent a lot of time in Massachusetts. He studied there, taught there and worked there. He was also awarded a Massachusetts Arts and Humanities Fellowship for his photography.

John studied photography as a Fine Arts major and was decidedly influenced by Gary Winograd and Robert Frank. Along the way John also received a photography grant from the National Endowment for the Arts. He still says his best friend and ex-professor Jim Harrison lit the fire that made it all happen.

He is an award-winning photographer, which is to say that his photography is so compelling that people who know what they are talking about have decided that John deserves recognition. His work has been exhibited and published worldwide.

Over the years there have been ad campaigns, magazine assignments and book projects. There have been photo shoots in Paris, Prague, Pittsburgh and Portugal (and that's just the Ps.) There have also been long tours through Italy and the rest of Europe behind the lens of his Leica.

John's images are everywhere. His stock agencies include Getty, AGE Fotostock, Jupiter and Uppercut Images.
